It all starts in various coffee growing regions around the world, where locals grow coffee to provide for their families. To ensure they get a good price for their beans, our trusted suppliers visit the farms and in most cases buy directly from the farmers paying them premium prices for the beans.
Roasting
Because we want to get your coffee to you as fresh as possible we 'roast to order' these green beans on our classic 80's model 10kg Has-Garanti Drum each Monday and carry very little stock.
Each batch takes around 16 minutes to carefully roast the beans to 220deg, a medium roast that brings out a well developed sweet taste,, but still retains the distinctive flavour profile of each bean.

Storage and Use
The beans are weighed out and carefully sealed in foil lines bags with a one way valve to keep your coffee as fresh as possible.
Please don't store them in the fridge or freezer! Moisture and temperature change are enemies to coffee! Rather a cool dark dry place (like a pantry) is best.
Fresh Coffee beans are at their absolute best from day 7 (post roast) to day 14, but are still 'fresh' for up to 3-4 weeks post roast if left in their bags.
We recommend only ordering as much as you can use in under 3 week to keep it fresh. Why not find someone local who also loves our coffee to split an order with and making the most of regular fresher coffee!
